- I went to the University of Texas at Austin and graduated in 2004 with a B.S. in Chemistry. My first job was with a small analytical lab in Round Rock where I got bored after 6 months. Next, I found a job at an environmental consulting firm where I worked for over 4 years, but then got burnt out. This year I completed my first year of teaching. I work for AISD and teach IPC and chemistry at Travis High School. I love it! I also love cooking! And eating. Anything related to food. I enjoy gardening, working in my yard, and spending time outdoors on a nice spring day. The summertime is bar-b-q time! I am also a huge chemistry nerd. I am active in the Central Texas Local Section of the American Chemical Soceity. In 2008 I was President of the 850 member chapter. This year I am in charge of advertising, and I am the Awards Chair. I also sit on the community activity committee of the ACS. For >5 years I have been a St. Louis Catholic church hand-bell ringer, and I participate in the Breakfast Club Ministry. What else do I do? Is that enough?
